We are thrilled that you are considering joining us for the upcoming dance season. Veselka is a nationally recognized, award winning dance school, with a great deal to offer dancers of every age and ability.

Veselka (meaning Rainbow) was originally formed to preserve and teach the beautiful art of Ukrainian Dance. More recently, it has been exciting to watch our school expand to include classes in Ballet, Modern Dance and Children' Yoga. This has added a rich new dimension and allows our students to choose from a range of dance disciplines.

Under the talented artistic direction of Lisa Hall, Veselka continually strives for excellence in offering an exciting and challenging dance curriculum. Our students enjoy a program that enriches them physically, musically and culturally, in a nurturing and supportive environment. This is evident as they progress from the fun of the beginner classes to the serious dedication and commitment of our most senior levels.

Our dancers entertain audiences several times throughout the year at various local events. Heritage Day, Danceworks and the Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival are highlights. Veselka consistently achieves high honours at festivals and competitions at both the provincial and national levels.

In addition to its first rate dance instruction and facilities, Veselka provides a unique opportunity to be part of a community and cultural experience. We are a family run, not for profit organization with the goal of providing an outstanding dance experience for our children. Our members are committed to this goal through fundraising and administrative support and all families pitch in and help as needed. We also make time for social activities and as a result we form close friendships. This is a family organization and we invite you to join us!
